Was the guy committing an invasion of privacy? Definitely.

i was reading the courts journals for i think year 2001 (dont ask why i was reading it), and at that time Chee Soon Juan was sued by Holy Goh and Lau Lee for defamation..again

and CSJ was saying he signed those documents of confession under duress...and the judge was like saying that it is not illegal or is he under duress..coz Goh and Lee have the legal rights to do so....legal rights in the sense they can sue him if he did not, and its not duress coz they never threatened to harm him bodily or anything

Yeah verbal agreements are hard to prove
You need black and white
Though there are cases where a set of events can prove that the verbal agreement was said but then again it depends on the lawyer to argue
